The Five Weirs Walk is an 8km path along the banks of the River Don. It links to the canal towpath, the riverside path to Rotherham and the Trans Pennine Trail. Offering a great urban alternative to the Peak District with lots of unlikely wildlife, history and artwork. Another firm favourite is the Sheffield Round Walk – a 14-mile route which can be easily tackled in sections.
