Athletics Arena

EIS-Sheffield offers an impressive indoor Athletics Arena complete with 6-lane 200m oval banked track, 6-lane 132m straight and 60m straight plus facilities for indoor throws and jumps. The Arena is available to both the local community through weekly training sessions and the country’s elite athletes through agreements with National Governing Bodies.

With a seating capacity of up to 2,000 spectators the arena is a fantastic setting for a wide range of activity including school sports days, company team building sessions and major events.

Since opening in December 2003 the Arena has already hosted a selection of major sporting events including: Norwich Union World Trials, Norwich Union European Trials, The AAA Championships, UK Inter City Cup and Channel 4 The Games.

Seminar / Conference Rooms

EIS-Sheffield offers an inspiring setting for seminars and conferences with a selection of rooms and in-house catering available.

EISS can cater for lunchtime meetings and breakfast seminars and offers free onsite parking and is easily accessible from the M1 (junction 34) and the City Centre. The venue is also in short walking distance to bus and tram stops.

The venue is fully accessible with lifts to access the upper corridor and complimentary guided tours of the facility can be arranged should visitors wish to view the state-of-the-art sports performance areas.

Location

Located adjacent to iceSheffield and Don Valley Stadium in the Lower Don Valley, EISS is situated just 10 minutes drive from the City Centre and the M1 (junction 34). With over 100 spaces the venue offers free on-site parking.

The venue is also easily accessible by public transport with just a 2minute walk from both tram and bus stops.

The Valley Health & Fitness

The Valley health and fitness offers members access to a state-of-the art gym and relaxing spa area complete with sauna, steam room and spa pool.

The gym offers a wide range of new and easy to use Cybex and Life Fitness equipment including CV workouts toning machines, free weights and a stretching area.

The fitness team are dedicated to helping members achieve their fitness goals and are always on hand to offer ongoing support and guidance.

In addition to the gym and spa facilities members can also benefit from free access to a range of sports activities including badminton and track running on the world-class 200m indoor running track plus the membership offers a range of fun complimentary activities for children and teenagers.
