Welcome to The Rutland Hotel and thank you for taking the time to look at our hotel. The hotel was taken back into private ownership in 2002 and is now known as Sheffield’s friendliest independent hotel.

The Rutland hotel is a modernised stone built Victorian building, which in 2005 underwent an extensive refurbishment, restoring the hotels character and charm and developing us into one of Sheffield’s most distinctive hotels.

We are located 1 mile from the city and are within walking distance to all Sheffield University facilities, Sheffield Hallam University's Collegiate Crescent Campus, The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield Children’s and Western Park Hospitals. We have a free, on site, floodlit car park with CCTV in constant operation.

We have 63 bedrooms, 4 meeting rooms, informal and formal restaurant conservatory over looking our landscaped gardens and bar are with plasma screen. We also have full wi-fi coverage throughout the hotel. We have a no smoking policy in all public areas, including the restaurant and bar.
