The Ranmoor Village is our newest conferencing venue, completed September 2009. At the heart of The Ranmoor Village lies The Ridge - a contemporary conference centre set in inspiring landscaped grounds.
Boasting three conference rooms, with capacity for 150 delegates, we can cater for large or small events.
Day Delegate rates start from £28.95+VAT per person per day
For the academic year 09/10, we are also able to offer en-suite bedrooms as an affordable alternative to hotels. Modern single rooms are available on a room only or bed and breakfast basis, providing convenient overnight accommodation for guests.
The Ranmoor Village opened in September 2009, located within the Ranmoor village is the Ridge. The Ridge conference venue provides state-of-the art audio visual equipment, exceptional catering and a stylish, professional and relaxing atmosphere for any type of event. The Ridge conference rooms offer cutting edge conference amenities, and incorporate a professional event co-ordination team able to arrange any type of event. The outstanding Dovedale conference room offers a capacity for up to 170 people and is a superior venue for any conference, meeting, event or exhibition. This is all located within a 5-10 minute walk to all the popular bars, restaurants and shops of Broomhill and a 10 minute drive in to the centre of Sheffield city centre. It is only a 15 minute drive from junction 31 of the M1 motorway and a 10 minute drive from Sheffield train station and is located on a main bus route.
The Ridge Bar
The bar is located in The Ridge venue, it offers a modern and stylish environment for everyone to enjoy. With its state-of-the-art TV plasma screens, leather sofas and easy modern lighting it’s a relaxing place to unwind and enjoy any of the selection of beverages on offer. It offers an excellent alternate breakout space for conference refreshments and buffet lunches. With its sophisticated and modern lighting system the atmosphere can be altered to suite any mood and event, from a small serene lunch to more lively evening function. The bar sells a range of drinks from traditional ales, wines and hot drinks too more modern beverages and cocktails. All in all, a sleek modern space with plenty of entertainment and character.
Dovedale
The Dovedale room can hold up to 170 delegate’s theatre style and offers space for any type of event, meeting, function or exhibition. It offers state of the art audio visual equipment, complementary wireless internet, has a temperature controlled environment and natural day light. With a full side of the room glass fronted, it offers a relaxing view overlooking the mature landscaped grounds.
The Dovedale room is located within a 5-10 minute walk to all the popular bars, restaurants and shops of Broom Hill with just a 10 minute drive in to the centre of Sheffield. The Ridge is just a 15 minute drive from junction 33 of the M1 and 10 minutes from Sheffield train station and is located on a main bus route.
Monsal Dale
Monsal Dale room can hold up to 50 delegates theatre style and offers space for a smaller meeting or can provides an excellent breakout area. With natural day light and air conditioning this room offers a warn relaxing atmosphere or any event, meeting or alternative space. The Monsal Dale room is located within a 5-10 minute walk to all the popular bars, restaurants and shops of Broom Hill and just a 10 minute drive in to the centre of Sheffield.
